Well, M1 had this coming. Fedors advisers arent the smartest bunch. You have the biggest org who basically has all the fighters in the world, M1 says "NO" Fedor and M1 is MMA. Guess who lost?

They bought it into the hype and myth that Fedor would never lose. They should have known that at this stage of his career, they need to protect him and get him the best deal possible. |

![]() ![]() Exactly what it is. Dana White getting the last say or 'winning the war'. Strikeforce going down the UFC is one of the most disappointing things I've seen a long time. Fedor should have the right to choose where he wants to fight without a mafioso business bullshit like Dana promising all sorts of revenge acts along the way. Sad day for MMA if Fedor goes out like this.

The lack of reading comprehension in this thread is amazing.
Why are we still talking as if Fedor is about to be cut by Strikeforce? We have one story from some russian website that none of us have ever heard of that Fedor is having contract difficulties with Zuffa. This story contradicts the announcement made by Strikeforce/M-1/Showtime at the start of the year that Fedor had signed a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce by referring to talks for a new contract. M-1 Global have come out and denied the story [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Coker has been saying for sometime that Fedor will be back in the summer [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and just this Friday said the opponent will be announced soon [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] So for the last time, there is no evidence that there is any truth to the rumours Fedor is about to be cut from Strikeforce. |

Not surprized in the least. Dana is not a business man, he let's his emotions dictate his actions. He is behind this 100% and as someone else suggested, this is out of spite. Fedor should just shrug it off and retire. I really do not want Fedor to lower himself by stepping into the UFC slave pit(octogon).

This pissing and moaning about the evil Zuffa Empire and Dana the vengeful anti-christ is really kinda pathetic.
UFC puts on a boring fight, it must be because Dana is an arsehole. The new season of TUF is pretty mediocre, it's because Dana is an arsehole. Fedor is undergoing yet another contract dispute (which, as Will has pointed out multiple times, is unsubstantiated bullshit), it must be because Dana is an arsehole. UFC fighters suck, anyone who fights in Japan or some bush league bullshit is immediately better, UFC fighters are overhyped and shit. Because Dana is an arsehole. It's really quite sad. Do you guys actually like the sport, or do you just like to bitch about how horrible Zuffa/UFC/Dana is? I watch MMA for the fights. I don't especially where they're taking place or under what banner. Bitch all you want and act like whiney little children, but at the very least realise that MMA would be nothing today without the UFC, and especially not without Zuffa and Dana White. |
