Awesome fight. Jim Miller has been on a tear up through the division and has a string of hugely impressive victories but for some reason isn't even in contention for a UFC title shot. Whilst Melendez has basically destroyed everyone in the SF lightweight division.

Or did they just cancel Miller contract to make him sign with SF ?

Would be a great fight. Gilbert has destroyed the Strikeforce Lightweight divison and you got Miller who is basically stuck in limbo hes won 7 straight but his 2 losses have come to the guys fighting for the title and its Pettis's title shot to lose when he fights Guida.

yes finally give miller a chance to fight for the title. He's been in a win streak lately and he ain't getting a title shot until maynard-edgar rematch so i like this idea of him getting a shot at melendez.

winner should fight each other to unify the title.

That would be a good test for both fighters. In my opinion it would definetly be a good starting point to see how the Strikeforce fighters match up.
