Default Gripping the glove

Something I've been curious about for a while, how do each of your grip the glove? Thinking about it, there are only two ways, and that is with your fingertips curled or fingertips not curled. Both are comfortable for me, but I would say that the uncurled version has the edge.

I think the most obvious argument against this style would be the safety of the hands. If you perform the two types of grip without a glove on, it is quite clear what the choice should be: curled fingertips. However, if you put on a glove the scenario changes. There is now substance separating your fingers from your palm. This allows for nearly the same grip as the clinched fingertips.

So, what style do you use, and do you believe there is a more correct way? If so, what evidence do you have to back it up.

Side note: If you need some pictures because my descriptions suck, I'll provide.
