Lots.
I want to compete and be one of the best, look back in 15-20 years and be able to say I gave it my all, and I got something out of it, I showed what I am about, nobody can take that away from me, and I proved anything is possible.

Why? Because I love it and it keeps me in great shape. Plus, it's a potential future career option if all else fails LOL.
Im the same, this week I'll have trained five times (and a weekend pad session with the wife making it six). But work demands may well see me at one session next week albeit thats never my intentions as I always plan to stick to my schedule.

However, I love training and hate when I cant (feel like a caged animal). I'd train every day if I could........ maybe I'm making up for lost time (having only taken up boxing), but the truth is I love punching and the movements associated with it.

1) I Box 2-3 times a week in the gym. Just bought a pushbike to add some CV. Probably go on 2 rides a week

2) Saw a photo of myself at the company xmas party (end of 2009) and was disgusted at what I saw. Coupled with lower back pains I decided I needed to do something. I weighed 18st 7 lbs. As it stands now, I weigh 16st on the dot with 1 more stone to go.

I do a set of bicep curls before breakfast. I do 20 crunches before bed. For the second part - I want to be a world champion.

I was boxing 3 nights a week for about 2 and a half hours, which is the best work out I've done in my life, on top of that I was going out 6 mile runs 2 or 3 times a week also.

I am 20 and would like to give amatuer a shot in the near future, butI do this generally because I dont want to turn into a fat cunt.

I have recently broken my finger so I'm out of boxing for another 3 weeks, although since then I got bored and joined a weight lifting gym. Running so often has brought on shin splints which kill me, so now i'm at the gym every second night doing weights, and my rest day i do 20K on the bike machine.

Once my finger has healed, i'll be back boxing harder than ever, whilst going to the gym to get stronger.

I don't like getting hit

Seriously though i'm in it for the weight loss and the sparring, nothing more.
Having a blast doing what i'm doing not experienced enough to take it any further.

Not training currently, but when I am it's 2-6 days per week, depending on injuries and work. Roadwork 3-4 times a week as well, though I was never consistent with it. Some weeks I'd run 5 days, others only 1 or 2.

And I do it because A. Looking pretty has never been enough motivation for me to take care of myself, and B. I feel like athletics/exercise/competition is one of the main...parts(?) of life, and boxing is the kind of sport I can compete in until I'm chill and old.
