1.Nacho Beristain - Majority of his fighters are very well rounded
2.Roger Mayweather - Great at helping fighters gain technical brilliance 3.Emanuel Steward - focuses on fundamentals & raises "boxers" 4.Nazim Richardson - Great teacher of the "old skool" 5.Freddie Roach - Teaches fighters great offense & not much else LIST DOESNT HAVE TO INCLUDE THESE 5...JUST ACTIVE TRAINERS |

Roach is a great trainer but only in one field, guys like Nacho & Roger teach their fighters just about everything
for god sake Pacquiao didnt learn how to throw a hook until he was like 30 ![]() & look at Amir Khan, dude doesnt even know how to block punchers lol |

He's done a great job with Britains amateur fighters too. Gavin, Saunders, DeGale, Price and many, many more are all making their names and a big reason for that is McCracken. Excellent trainer.

jim mcdonnell had no answers for degale when he fought groves. adam booth proved he is a tactical genius in this fight and will no doubt have a fantastic game plan for haye on july 2nd, saying that so will emmanuel steward...I can see july 2nd being a tactical fight.
my top 5 are emmanuel steward rob mccracken freddy roach adam booth bob shannon |

As far as teaching and all around skill I would have to go with the Mayweather's and for pure offensive fighting Roach is top dog. Steward is the best motivator for sure. Nacho a great trainer in his own right being able to take Mexican brawlers and have them semi polish is great.
