This 2nd defense of the Euro 154lbs title by the Czech on his home turf is in just a few hours, and hasn't gotten any mention.
It's supposedly airing in four hours (GMT 9pm, local time 10pm) on Germany Sport 1; can anyone confirm? Does the Frenchman have any chance of success in hostile territory in his third attempt to win this title? (having previously come up short against both Dzinziruk and Baysangurov) |

Konecny raped him, with agonizingly drawn out precision.
![]() It was a complete beating, but with very little drama and with Konecny pacing himself and throwing just enough punches to win the rounds and keep Bayram a nervous wreck. I had it 119-109 (which is about as generous as one could possibly be to the Frenchman, IMO) and others scoring it live had a shutout - the official cards were all over the place with one 119-109, one 118-110 and one even 117-111...which is just plain weird. |

I tuned in in the tenth and by the looks of it Hussein actually stood a chance. Had it two to one for Konecny in the end but judging by the commentaries when I turned on the sound it afterwards the fight was gruesomely onesided.
