That's his biggest problem imo. In K1 he was around 280lbs and his hands were much faster with legit power. Since he turned pro in boxing he's been up at 300lb and it's effected his handspeed and power along with it. At 300lbs he has slow thudding punches similar to Valuev, there's no speed or snap on them. If he gets down to 270-280 it would make a huge difference imo.

Agreed. 260-270 and you have a top ten type of talent. 290+ for Ustinov and he's a waste.

I think he's still too old now, but sure drop a little of that weight and get some speed out of it he'd be trouble for anyone as he does have a good chin and power along with being darn big

He seems kind of lazy and complacent being just what he is which is even more suprising since i'm fairly certian he is ex-special forces. I Remember a K1 announcer saying he fought in Chechnya, i haven't seen this info anywhere else but i don't imagine the announcer said it for no reason.

Ustinov KOŽed Guido Santana (who ever he is) in 1st round.

Ustinov has been pro for 10 years now and is already 34 years of age. One should really expect a step-up for him this year.

Dimitrenko for the EBU -belt?
