Default The Big Fight Preview: Rampage vs. Hamill

In preparation for tonight's main event, here's an in depth preview of the fight between Quinton Jackson and Matt Hamill:

That aside, Jackson has publicly stated he thinks he’s a class above Hamill, and he’s right. “Rampage” is a physically gifted athlete with better striking and the defensive wrestling to keep “The Hammer” at bay. He could also probably take the fight to the floor if he so desires. Yet, MMA isn’t always about who is more naturally talented.
Sometimes a fight can boil down to drive and desire – in other words, who wants it more.
Arguably Jackson’s biggest danger in this fight is himself. Will his approach to the fight mirror that of the fans’? Does Hamill as an opponent motivate him to really push himself or will he attempt do just enough to get by? Jackson is his own worst enemy at times and his notorious dislike of training could be his downfall here.
He's picking Rampage via decision ultimately, what say you chaps?

Rampage needs to take him out early imo, his stamina has always been an issue. Otherwise Hamil may out wrestle him late

haha rampage has got pretty good takedown defense. It was a one way beating which was kinda sad as matt couldnt do much.

Yeah, Matt's got a good chin and I think Rampage's killer instinct is gone. Thought Hamill may have got a TD late but those punches took their toll

I think Rampage's broken hand had something to do with it, but Hamill showed a good chin as he got hit with some big shots.
