It doesn't. The majority of posters on this forum know a lot more about their sport than the majority of people on the General Forum know about boxing.
In Sherdog for example is just the contrary. The esb mma forum dont represent the world.

Resume quality is not just who you fight (or indeed lose to) it's the performances in the losing efforts to.

Anyway, Fedor is the correct answer. Especially as he has 2x dominant victories over Big Nog.

I made a thread awhile back asking who has fought the best competition which is very similar(in some cases not though).

Here it is a lot of people did pick Nog or Fedor though.. it is as if they are still fighting eachother...

Good ol' Pride matchmaking. Also made Wanderlei Silva look way better than he really was. His best wins were over Rampage and every other top fighter he lost to/had trouble with hell even Yoshida and Nakamura (who I feel is underrated) gave him trouble.

By the time of the Noguiera fight Sapp the big sap was 2-0 in MMA and 0-1 in K1.
And then he KTFO the K-1 ATG Ernesto Hoost twice I believe.

This is what they talk about over at Sherdog.

Kurt Angle vs Hershel Walker would actually be a decent celebrity fight
