Default Frank Shamrock vs Bas Rutten

A very grood grappling match with a bit of slapping thrown in.
Its an interesting historical film of an older style MMA with more restrictive rules.

Yep.. That was back when Frank didn't quite understand the concept of keeping an opponent in your guard lol. Once Frank learned that lesson, he became very good.

Bas, he had crazy strength, but you see how raw they both are.. Bas going for that knee bar early was funny.. Just turned his back to Frank and went for the leg.. Instead of countering Frank just pulled away.. Interesting how offensive and cautious the fights were back then.

Heres another of my favorites:

Bas Rutten vs Jason Delucia
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

It really shows how stong Bas was, he breaks Delucia's liver by palm strikes :
On a funnier note, both Bas and Delucia are forum members of the Sherdog MMA forums, they both had a 'flame' war on there, attacking one another with the entire forum watching! It was pretty funny.
Naturally Bas won the arguement, as he gloated about beating Delucia thrice and breaking his liver, also that he as an immigrant has better spelling and grammar than a US born citizen. (Delucia's posts read like a 13 year olds)
