Stepping up to the plate after Rani Yahya was forced to withdraw, Young believes he has a great chance of going to Vancouver and getting the upset.

Quote:
ďDustin has got good stand-up, heís a southpaw so could be a little bit tricky. But when he fought Grispi, Grispi looked like he hit a wall and was a bit gassed. He just sort of turtled up and accepted the strikes. Dustin would clinch with him, just knee him and do what he wanted almost. It was almost like a desperate fight for Grispi when in guard and stuff like that; it was like he hit a wall. Iím not the type of guy to turtle up and let someone punch me, no way. If you think someone is going to punch me, youíve got to think twice, Iíll throw back straight away.

ďIíve studied him and know quite a lot about him Ė as much as I need to know. With my stand-up and his stand-up, it will be such an exciting fight. Itís one of them ones, itís going to be banging for three rounds hopefully, if he wants to stand and trade. Thatís the sort of fight I like, and hopefully he likes the same. Iíve seen in his past fights he usually comes out trying to bang.Ē
We should be expecting an exciting fight in all areas, as Jason has shown his grappling skills with wins over BJJ black belts and Sambo specialists in recent fights so whatever happens, make sure you catch it. It's gonna be fun!

More in the interview about his reactions when he got the call and hoping to stabilise his future with the UFC contract.
