It makes Stonehands assertion more plausible than an ALS diagnosis.

Marciano was greater than the sum of his parts.

I believe he would have found a way to win, no matter who he was fighting- triumph of the will.

At light heavyweight Charles probably has a better chance, but i don't see it being too much different from how the older, heavier Charles fared. Marciano would probably have a harder time at first catchng up to him, but the fights would probably turn out about the same.

If they fought at light heavy in their primes Charles could've won by UD or stoppage due to cuts.

They fought twice and Marciano won both times...once by ko. Odds would greatly favor Rocky no matter when they would have fought.

I think Charles became an excellent heavyweight but I also think when he entered the Marciano 1 fight, he was on a hot streak with 2 very impressive KO's over Wallace and Satterfield and he also brought into the ring vast experience at the age of 32, I dont think he looked as good vs Louis than in Marciano 1, I think the 2 Marciano fights took everything out of Charles....Its almost like saying who would be a better challenge the B-Hop that lost to Taylor 2X or the B-hop that beat Pavlik ...Charles was 32 and fit and experienced and on a hot streak, he may have gotten Ko'd earlier had he fought Marciano when he won the title....Marciano was just the greater fighter despite Charles great effort

All things being the same, with Charles being a stand up Boxer puncher, who would stand and fight as opposed to covering up or moving when hurt, I think Marciano beats him at any point in his career.

Marciano beats him and almost anyone else--maybe anyone else--anytime. Charles was considered in prime till after that second loss, he still had great fights, but the beating from those two fights took something out of him.

Rocky finds a way to win Whether it be a KO in the 14th, 2 paid off judges or a very close UD, he always found a way.
