I wouldn't bet on him being able to go up that far, but I can't question the magic Victor Conte can work either.

Still, I think the most he could bulk up would be about 135. And that's pushing it.

I think if he went to 130, he could beat Gamboa, but I think he loses to Uchiyama. If he went to 126, I think he would beat Salido, Ponce De Leon, John, etc., but I don't think he could beat Mikey Garcia due to styles.

After you, fuckface

Salido and PDL are both come-forward brawlers that favor Donaire's style. Uchiyama, however, doesn't do to his power and boxing skills, not to mention greater size and the difficulty of getting him flush. Uchiyama is all wrong for Donaire. Garcia is bigger and more of a boxer, so again, that doesn't favor Donaire much. Gamboa's got a glass jaw and looked like shit against Farenas. Donaire would shatter Gamboa's Cuban glass if he comes into a fight with him looking that bad again.

If you want to offer some reasons why you think my positions are so dumb on this matter, then by all means, post some breakdowns or your reasons for why you think Donaire would get pwned by all of those guys, then go to the insults later on, alright chum? Donaire ain't even one of my 5 favorite active fighters.

I think Donaire plans on fighting at 126 lbs this year because the mega fight with Mares is unlikely to happen due to their promoters. Rigondeaux is still an option along with the winner of De Leon/Velez and Lopez/Santos fight (if not cancelled). Billy Dib and Yordan would be good fights too. I don't think John would fight him.
