Pete Rahdmacher got a title shot in his debut against Floyd Patterson. I think Patterson KO'd him under 7. He went on to lose his third career fight against Zora Folley as well.

Pros and amateurs are two different sports entirely.

It's like saying winning wrestling or judo in the Olympics should qualify for an MMA top spot. You just really can't compare them.
