Oh crap, right after I posted, Luhan got a big KO.
This guy is one tough bastard. Not much defense, but strong & aggressive. He was hurt early on, but came back like a pitbull and took Melligan apart. He's sort of a mini Szpilka. Probably never gonna' be a Floyd-killer, but REALLY fun to watch. I was really rooting for Melligan, though. He's really fast, with a lot of skill. Szpilka, I mean Luhan, simply out-muscled him. Good fight. |

Lujuan-Melligan?
Yeah, that happened a while back, in 2011. It was a great fight. Guess they were showing a replay on ESPN Classic or something...

Shows that on average, Filipino's hardly produce heavier weight that are world class.
Pacquiao was pushing it and Ceferino Garcia is a once in a lifetime. |

Weird. I hadn't seen it, & didn't know anything about these guys. FNF didn't say it was a rebroadcast, nor did my channel guide, and they always do. Very odd. Well, still a great fight! ---------------------------- I see that Luhuan lost 2 of his next three bouts. (one to Mike Jones) So much for that... but he's still a tough little bastard. He'll probably be in quite a few more good fights before he retires. |
