As a fan of jazz nearly I piss myself whenever I see that clip purely for 'and Clam on bass'
What you like? Coltrane? Miles Davis? Monk? Not Jamie Cullum, surely |

I'm a bit of a luddite, but yeah, Davis, Coltrane, Monk are all quality. Davis was the first one I got into about 7 years ago. Hancock, Gillespie, Parker, Eldridge, Navarro, Ellington, that sort of thing. It was various jazz-inspired stuff like Steely Dan, Morcheeba, Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead and stuff what got me interested in a roundabout way. Even Radiohead. I'm not too up to date on recent stuff tbh, I think Melting Pot by Zoe Rahman is the most recent album I bought. |
