It'll probably get a bit tighter on fight week, but regardless, as much of a war as the first fight was, what was proven was that Rios could take Alvarado's power down the stretch and Alvarado couldn't take his. Alvarado had success on the outside against Rios, but isn't really a boxer type and couldn't stay away from Rios or keep him away the entire time. It's likely to be another war type fight, but probably more in Rios' favor than their first encounter.

I'm a big Bam Bam fan but here's an interesting tid bit, I think Alvarado can beat him if he wants to. It's not gonna happen though from what I've heard. Alvarado has the arsenal and tools to box with smart aggression and edge a decision but FOR SOME reason he gets pulled into the simplistic exchange game that Bam Bam masters.
I heard the interviews for this fight and Mike said he was ready for another war and didn't hint to any changes so expect the same result. |

Maybe Mike is claiming he's just planning on slugging it out when he's secretly planning on boxing. Doesn't seem likely, but it's not like no fighter has ever fibbed about that kind of thing.
