If I mind right it was a guy from Kincorth, I was helping with the corner as it was just Spike doon. hink it was a first round stoppage too.

Aye it was the boy with the baldy head was it. I honestly think Gary's jab was awesome back when he first started but since then he has used it less and less.

I think so.

Thats the only time Ive seen Gary box, apart from highlights of one of his pro fights.

i never really rated cornish. As ive said before he would have to relocate and change trainers because he just doesnt seem to be making any improvements since the first time i saw him. I thought his defence was wide open , his jab was lazy and slow, he doesnt punch in combinations at all, infact im bored picking out his faults , i would be here all day . As for him fighting simmons i would fancy simmons to stop him late on but be well infront on points at the time.

Gary looks like he's facing Paul Butlin for British Masters Title. Nice step up for Cornish IMHO.

dont rate Cornish at all the same way i didnt rate Belshaw or Dallas, who trains Cornish out of interest ?

He certainly has the height and reach but does he have real power with both hands ? 14 and 0 with only 6 KO's against journeymen would suggest he doesnt but on the otherhand maybe the rounds he is getting in will improve him and the puching power will increase as he goes along
