GBP and TR can get you to the big money faster but opponent selection will be smaller and fighters could loose big money fights (Donaire vs Mares would have been huge)

best option is to still sign with gbp or tr.

if it's either of the 2, other than floyd, hbo/tr seem to pay their fighters better.

No it's still best to sign with Top Rank or Golden Boy. While flexibility sounds nice in theory, the fact is those are the only two promoters with any leverage at all on their respective TV networks. Thus for instance, DiBella was unable to get Cotto-Rodriguez on HBO but Top Rank was able to get them to not only air that fight but pay double DiBella's asking price. Same goes for Golden Boy, as no one else has much of a shot of getting on Showtime if they're not with that company.

Yup TR and GBP seem to be the bees knees, now, but to be honest you'll be lucky to fight under and be promoted by someone like Dibella. Different fighters under different situations and esp if you don't have the pedigree goodluck. GBP and TR, tho, have the networks by the balls. Someone like ***y Serg was able to fight Chavez Jr and talks of future Canelo/Mayweather fight... Can't ask for more man.

but if a fighter is good and exciting enough, he'll eventually stand out.

pac made it with murad muhammad, sergio with di bella, and for provo with banner, golovkin with k2, kovalev is on the verge with main events.

For the most part, but it really depends on your stage of development. Right now if you sign with Main Events they'll get regular dates on NBC and build up your name the old tried and proven way. Go to Golden Boy and wait in line. Look at guys like Jacobs fighting once every six months...
