I know absolutely nothing about Murat. Anyone know anything about him?

He fought Campillo twice and got a pair of gifts.

He was arguably the hardest-fought victory of Cleverly's career aside from Bellew, losing a close war of attrition by doctor stoppage in the Welshman's star-making and world title opportunity earning performance.

His best legit scalps are Italian light-hitting former Euro titlist Cristian Sanavia, twice, and the fit and lantern-jawed (but otherwise fairly useless) American southpaw Tommy Karpency. The version of Griffin he fought was shot.

Everything about him - power, speed, defense - is definitively average. In terms of style he is a pretty typical Uli Wegner student, if that paints a picture for you.

As long as he's somewhat slow, has a predictable style and isn't a high work rate guy, Hopkins should be fine.

No more a threat on paper than was Enrique Ornelas. While Enrique actually did give B-Hop a surprising amount of difficulty and made it competitive throughout - he still ultimately lost wide. ( 118-109 on my card).

Murat hardly brings any more than Ornelas did in 2009, except that he's a natural light heavyweight and not moving up from middle. Otherwise he is just as basic if not more.

I'm thinking about going in big on the over. Hopkins isn't going to KO Murat. Even if he has Murat hurt, he won't waste his precious reserves to go for the kill. And unless if Murat catches Hopkins with one of the luckiest punches in boxing history, he won't KO Hopkins. But it's never smart to put all your eggs in one basket but this one looks like a sure bet.

Yeah, even at only 2/9 that is the real value here by my reckoning.
