Wlad would always struggle against Sanders, who would throw bombs from all sorts of angles. I think it's possible Sanders knocks out any version. Wlad would always have a hard time controlling the distance.

He timed wlad and countered him. The aggression came after he'd dropped wlad. Sanders is a stylistic anomaly in boxing history and I can't see anything to suggest wlad would beat him prime for prime.

We can at least agree on that point, for sure. Sanders had perfectly rational, calculated aggression. He didn't just hear the bell and go batshit.
