Default Braehmer deserves a world title shot

he never lost his world title in the ring
he's a quality fighter who has come back from prison and had a few decent wins , won the European title beating a good fighter in Gutkneckt. It's about time he got a world title fight don't you think

I would like to see him against Kovalev. Braehmer has fast hands and for sure a bit more pop in it than Cleverly. And as Kovalev is easy to hit, this could be interesting, especially since Braehmer can take a punch.

The Black Mamba gave him a good fight, Kovalev would wreck him, punch through him like the last few victims.

Kovalev would knock Braehmer out easily, no contest.

"The Black Mamba" was Roger Mayweather. He used that name years ago.........

Kovalev would feast on Brahmer's zero-defense style. This would be a brutal beatdown.

He never won his title in the ring either.
His promoter (Universum) forced his stablemate Erdei to vacate the tiltle and move up to cruiser so that Brähmer was given the belt without defeating anyone.
He lost his belt because he dropped out of fights numerous times (on short notice).
I like the guy, he is always fun too watch. But he has serious stamina issues and his defense is non-existent starting with the middle rounds.
Gutknecht is not a world-level fighter and it was a life-and death struggle.

braehmer was really exciting when he used to bang people out with real power, some of his knockouts were proper highlight reels
but he seems to box more these days and win on points its strange
