He showed some real promise. Sound fundamentals, excellent jab and movement. He is very agile, with surprising fluidity and graceful athleticism for such a big and muscular guy.

His power and speed are okay, and honestly his chin isn't terrible since he did keep his feet after some bombs from Botha (who may be a shot old painfully slow 4-round fighter with a pitiful work rate and very little gas, but still hits very hard when he loads up as power's the last asset to fade and he did always have a fearsome thunk) but the defensive flaws will get him KTFO because it's undeniably a below-average chin given the several chicken dances he performed once Botha started regularly spamming the right hand with any insistence. Williams reacted like he got whacked by a 4x4 even when Botha grazed him. He possesses enough heart to overcome his deficiencies in punch resistance if someone catches him flush and hurts or drops him, but only if he manages to figure out defensive strategies beyond attempting to clinch - which he was quickly losing the energy to even do properly by the end of the 10th.

If he commits to his game plan to box on the outside - at least against big punchers - he could become a respectable heavyweight, top Aussie domestic and fringe world contender type.

Investigate this fraud its one thing to look good during the fight but all that goes out the window when they blatantly cheat the general public and paying customers.

Especially if Botha was pacing himself to go hard in the later rounds - which he did - and very nearly had SBW out of there in the 10th.

There's an article even one of the judges saying they had no idea it was only 10 rounds as they had 12 round score card slips, it looked Sus the way Botha had fuck all power in his shots until near the end he suddenly seemed to develop knock out power, very conveniant.
