Cotto did a great job, but he didn't have enough in the gas tank to keep up the momentum all twelve rounds.

I personally had it 8-4 in favor of Cotto. I thought he won the fight. Theres a reason floyd doesnt want to fight Pac. If a slower, less powerful fighter tagged him like a ragdoll imagine what the Pacman would do to him.

9-3 Mayweather, 8-4 is another good score.

A lot of close but clear rounds on both sides.

And the HBO commentary just sort of clouded the issue, but Steward (rip) had to shut Lampley up by enforcing the fact that cotto's body work was being blocked parried. Mayweather may have loss a step on his reflexes and loss a couple of steps on his legs, but his defensive skills are as sharp as ever.

The interesting thing though was that people tend to forget about the CLEAR body work MAYWEATHER was doing, which helped to set up headshots. Cotto wanting the bigger glves, normal size for that weight, did him good on defense to the head. Cotto was pissing blood after the match. We must keep all these in mind.
word?

After the 8th round I had Cotto winning 3 rounds, and the momentum was clearly on his side, but he gassed after that. If he kept up what he was doing in that 8th round through the rest of the fight he could have definitely won.

Altogether I had cotto winning 4 rounds in a great fight. Floyd was in a tough one that night and he couldn't outclass Cotto.

I gave Cotto a few 10-8 rounds for busting Floyd's nose.

a lot of rounds may have seemed i little bit more competitive for floyd's level but it was a wide and clear win nonetheless. floyd said himself that he wanted the fight to be entertaining, and that was what he gave.

Cotto was more than holding his own... but then he faded in the later rounds!

I gave Cotto 4 rounds.

all the shit posters (to no surprise) had Cotto winning. The usual suspect who never had anything nice to say about floyd either.
