Default Norris vs McCallum?

Both on their absolute best day, who wins and how?

Mike was too patient and Terry really did not box effectively the way you had to with Mike. Terry had a habit of boxing up and down instead of using good lateral movement. To beat Mike he would have had to box and keep the fight at a distance, and his reach was really not that long. Mike would have hit him and slowed him down and stopped him in about 8 or 9. I do believe on of Terry's most impressive wins was the Simon Brown rematch. He showed good discipline, but McCallum is a different quality than Simon Brown moving up in weight.

I have to disagree with eveyone, I think Norris would use his speed and movement and combination punching to keep Mccallum at bay. Having respect for Maccullum and what he was able to do in the ring would have kept Norris safe and victorious. I know alot of fighter voided Mccallum because he was a tough fighter the will be there all night. He still was beatable like any other fighter, and would have not looked as well against some of the upper teir fighter that avoided the tough fight for bigger named fighters.

Terry had the speed to beat Mike since Kalambay did beat a pretty prime McCallum, but Terry did not have the discipline/patience of Mike. If Terry fought the perfect fight and didn't waste punches when he was able to hit Mike, he could eek out a decision, but he would have to fight the perfect fight. Mike's greatness was economy of punches and patience and defense. A quick fighter could beat him, but that fighter would have to be careful not to get tired or relaxed.

Norris looks great outspeeding McCallum and wins probably every round until the inevitable happens: McCallum breaks him.

Probably looks like the McCallum vs Curry.

Norris speed asnd movement nuys him time and some rounds. But there is no way Norris chin gets through this fight. That coupled with McCallum`s fierce body attack... And the fact that Norris liked facing either oldies past their prime or little guys coming up (Taylor) and McCallum is a TRUE jr. middle. Absoulutely no way Norris keeps The `Bodysnatcher` off him all night. McCallum by mid to late stopage. Guys, in hypothetical`s involving Norris. It`s impossible to ignore the shakiness of his chin and especially against a solid banger like McCallum ...
