Everyone barks on about Rios vs Alvarado which was a great fight but a bit caveman for my tastes, enjoyed this one more

you cant get knocked down against someone 6 times then in a rematch correct all them mistakes, werent they mostly left hooks aswell?
Hes a good boxer but Quillin is the wrong person for him to fight because Quillin throws punches randomly with power you dont see them coming because of his shit workrate
You are not understanding the significance of keeping the right hand up. A good trainer would of had N'Jkam glue that right hand to the side of his face. Example, when Ike Ibeabuchi was coming up, he was matched with David Tua, a murderous puncher. Curtis Cokes, a former champ and Ibeabuchi's trainer, had Ibeabuchi work on blocking/catching the left hook. When fight night came, Ibeabuchi's right hand was damn near glued to the side of his face. He blocked, caught most of Tua's powerful left hooks. N'Jkam should have been doing the same thing, as Quillen's best punch is the left hook. Had N'Jkam kept his right hand up, he would have been blocking them instead of eating them.

But NDam's best punch is the overhand right and he likes to sit down on it and step with the punch. He'll always be open for counter left hooks because of that. He got caught with uppercuts as well, he just doesn't set up his attacks, they're too obvious and easy to read.

He's a good fighter. But guys like him and Qullin are rather evenly matched. They are second tier fighters. Good not great. N'dam started coming back and even rocked Quillin a little in their fight.

Fun to watch tho. Obvious talent gap between Sergio,Golovkin and the other title holders.

Very skilled, with a massive heart and considerable recovery skills to offset his shaky chin.

The guy was outboxing Quillin for more than 70% of their fight and I think Quillin is a decent fighter.

Agreed.

In a rematch with Kid Chocolate, if he can avoid getting plunked, I like HNN's chances.

Meh, Quillin let his hands go, Ndam was on the canvas. Wildcard taught Qullin to be too patient. Falling in lovee with his power

I remember thinking my VCash on Quillin was in trouble that night.

Quillin's power is a genuine game changer.

Just wait till Billy Joe Saunders gets into the mix to take that boy to school, HNN showed Quillin can be outboxed.

He didnt seem to respond well to pressure in his last fight against Blackwell but he is only 23 still, he should beat Hall next week though.

Also he may be little small for Middleweight when compared to JCC Jr and Quillin. Regardless he has good boxing skill.

I saw that fight, he did not look great against a very game opponent. But Macklin and Barker had had many such moments
