I took the piss out of this guy a bit (mainly due to Polish Pummler) and his loss to Kerry Hope.
But I was very impressed with him taking on Golovkin, and he took the hammering like a man. He has a warrior mentality. I'll check for this fight. |

Hes a good guy considering he hails from Poland. Hope he can get back at it and maybe at least win an EU belt, maybe get another title shot (= payday) down the line.

Never seen him until he fought Golovkin. Even though he got whooped I enjoyed the fight. Like the poster above said, he took his beats like a man and I am sure it hasn't ruined him like what happens to some fighters.

I like Proksa too. And had big hopes for him against GGG, but he fought a stupid fight. (Golovkin will do that to you.)
Hopefully that experience was a great lesson, and Gregorz went back into the gym to work stuff out. (like a more aggressive outside game.) With the current depth of the MW division, I doubt Proksa can become champ, but I think he can pose a real challenge to the top guys, and give us some great fights in the process. |
