Word is there setting Malignaggi for a big fight night against Hatton, hence the reason the belt wasnt on the line and the reason Hatton is fight senchenko next.
Malignaggi was never gonna lose! |

same, cano did better than i expected, but he didnt do enough in a lot of rounds, maybe people gave him a handicap being the underdog? i dont know. i ahd it by 1 or 2 to Paulie and without the 10-8 round it would have been a close-but-clear type fight i think

Cano deserved the nod.
Paulie had one punch in his arsenal. Was it an accurate jab? Was it a hurtful jab? Did his jab set-up the right hand? Did his jab stop Cano from coming forward? Did his jab make Cano off balance? Did his jab stop Cano from throwing? Did his jab stop Cano from landing? |

I liked Cano in this one,I agree with Scotty. Paulie was a lot of smoke and mirrors, sure he looked okay for a period but a non-dominating powderpuff jab isn't always enough. Against the Senchenko's maybe, but this fight showed why Paulie isn't really a factor at welterweight.
