Some good calls there. Vazquez and Abril would probably be next on the list, really liked to see Bundu getting mentioned hes an underrated little fighter with pretty good skills and probably the best switch-hitter in the game, hes probably a little old to make some noise at WW hes also a small WW i think if he would be better suited at 140 or even 135 if he could make the weight, lovely fighter to watch though.

Yeah, I really like Bundu. Fights well in close, and can box at range. Would love to see him get a shot at one of the names at WW, before age finally catches up with him.

Would like that too, i would give him a good shot at beating the winner of the upcoming Porter-Malignagi fight.

The only ones I consider really great at defense are:

Mayweather
Rigo
Ward
Hopkins
M. Garcia

Have to combine great defense with respectable offense to count imo. Some guys (Moreno, Trout, Lara, etc.) are better at defense than offense so we think of them as defensive fighters, but I wouldn't consider them great at it.

When I think that almost everyone who posts here has only seen Narvaez against Donaire: Not representative!

I think you guys have nailed all of the top guys. The only guy I have issue with is Wlad because of the way he has defended lately. I am not a fan but I do respect him until he does his imitation of an octopus. Most competent refs would dock points which would offset his ability to avoid getting hit. Bhop bends the rules but he masks it so well unless you are watch in slo mo you may miss it.

absolutely

the way he redefined himself, and the mental strength and discipline that takes (not to mention he WANTED the sam peter fight in his return because he was a big puncher) speaks volumes
