Calzaghe had nothing but opportunity to prove how good he was, but he chose not to (and yet still gets a ridiculously undeserved amount of respect here).

So what exactly are you guys talking about? Everyone thinks GGG is the best middleweight. Everyone likes Kovalev, what the hell are you guys talking about?
Getting beat by a seasoned world champion who was blatantly allowed to cheat as he did while having every benefit of the doubt from the referee and judges on his home turf BY SPLIT DECISION is not such a bad thing; especially when considering it was Loma's 2nd professional bout.

As it remains, he is still an ATG in the amateurs, and I predict he will find a resurgence in his career after he dismantles Gary.

HBO could have all the top fighters in the world today if they were willing to pay for them, they have more money..............The best heavyweight in the world today has been boxing for HBO, Showtime, ESPN2, ESPN, EPIX. HBO should sign a contract with Vladimir Klitschko, the best fighter in the world today, and by far......................Vitali Vs. Arreola was the highest rated fight of the year for HBO..............

HBO has the best light-heavyweight Kovalev, whom Stevenson went to Showtime to avoid. Then there is Golovkin who can't get Quillin, Sturm, and probably not even Martinez to fight him............HBO made a commentary about Stevenson's fear of fighting Kovalev, so he went to Showtime to fight an easy fight with Hopkins..............

LOL Farmy thanks for typing that shet all out for me to prove the point that HBO ain't shet and you have shet for brains.
Why would any network contract with a boxer no one wants to watch like Klitscho.
If Klitscho were any good GBP would have signed him years ago, you dementia brained idiot.

When Vitali Klitschko fought Kirk Johnson at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, USA, it sold out during a huge snowstorm. When Vitali fought Arreola is was HBO's highest rated fight of the year. Vitali and Vlad sell out, such as one fight selling 65,000 tickets, fans live at ringside. You won't see that in America with Mayweather or anyone. Most boxing fans want to see the Klitschkos fight..............Ward? no, Hopkins, no, they want to see the best boxer in the world today, and that is Vladimir Klitschko. Vlad would beat every boxer in any weight division.............Void would have no chance, Ward, although Ward claimed he would easily knock both Klitschkos out, well, he never did call them out, nor sign a contract. Vlad would knock Ward out, Jones did go up to heavyweight and win a decision over Ruiz, so why doesn't Ward fight for the heavyweight title like Jones? How about anyone in any division? Well, that's because Vlad is not only bigger, he is quick, has scary power. Hopkins would not stand a chance and would be knocked out. You can talk about P4P, but P4P means nothing....................

And the ultimate irony of this is that Showtime built many of the biggest, non-American names up in the American market ny being the only network interested in them (Joe Cal, Kessler, Froch, Bute, Darchinyan, Nigel Benn, Kostya Tszyu, Ricky Hatton, David Haye, Sam Peter, etc.)
