hmm a lot of people don't seem to understand that in soviet times everyone mixed quite a lot and russians,Belorussians,Ukrainians are all the same people in reallity....

not just because they speak russians but because they have same roots...

the first russian state was Kievan Rus.....
kiev was the first capital of the first russian state,

usually when people look so alike there is a reason and the reason is that they have the same roots in race and culture...

i was born in soviet union too and here is a good link

I know. Watching him box is just awesome. I was so gutted for him in the olympics. Wish I could box half as good as him.

Loved him in the amateurs. I've been looking up to him, so it was very disappointning to see him lose in the Olympics. Well, at least he said that it was his greatest learning experience.

Seen this kid on the Marg v Mosely undercard. Very impressive. I'd heard that he had a conditioning problem but he looked in good shape during this. Definitely one to watch

Does u-tube have his last fight and if so could someone post it.This guy has loads of talent and has a crowd pleasing style that will take him far as long as his chin is solid and has no stamina issues. It seems that the best young fighters are coming from Europe lately, whats the deal with that.

I think Korobov is a little small for a modern 160 pound middle weight, who as we all know fight around 170-175 ( light heavy ) on fight night.

Perhaps jr middle would be ideal for Korobov. Then again, his skills are amazing. That alone could win him the title at middle weight.

Was a bit disappointet with his last fight, but I really liked that he kept his cool and got an absolute awesome ending. What a punch!

And did he really have 310 amateur fights, with only 10 losses?
