When has Kimbo ever takn anyone down? usually s his ''oponents'' do anuything against his rules that start bitchin and moaning.

Slice is not an MMA fighter, he's a bully who bashes up computer geeks for fun. Even an old shot Mercer should win this!

Hes been training grappling more recently. With those guys he was fighting, he didnt need to take them down as he was able to KTTFO, with Mercer he would be at disadvantage on feet so he would take it on ground. If combat was like a game of chess, it would be the same advantage of having more pieces (rook, knight, bishop) vs simply having 1 powerful piece in a queen. A knight for example would be much more useful in some situations than a queen.
