I've thought about the sports psychologist thing before. Maybe it would have calmed him too much and he would have lost some of his edge, taking away the animal ferocity. Hard to say. The way he fought was a polished, primal style.

Immortataly for my self (Cus) and Jimmy Jacobs so Tyson wouldn't go to Don King and leave Kiven Rooney as his trainer.

The principal thing that I would have done diferently is a lot more emphasis on infighting. I would have done a lot of work to shorten his punches and make him able to throw combinations in a much shorter space.

I would also have developed a few elements of his game that fell by the wayside because they were seen to be unecesary like footwork and swith hitting.

I would have made him carry some of his oponents so that he could develop these aspects of his game and implement them in a long term fight plan. Like Jack Blackburn I would have decided which round his oponents got taken out in and not Tyson. This would require him to employ more specific finishing strategies.

Tyson didn't need a shrink or a psychiatrist or any of this, The thing he always yurned and screamed out for was a father figure. He got this in Cus first and Don King after (Don as his fatherly figure in life was the downfall of Tyson imo)
The only thing i could think of changing is keeping him a lot more disciplined..

I think the job Cus & co. did with Tyson was superb as it is.
As Janitor says, polishing up certain aspects of his game could have helped, but ultimately what lead to Tyson's downfall was mental rather than physical, and you really can't do a whole lot to really change that.
