Well, I'm biased. I saw several of Pryor's fights and rank him as the #1 ATG light welterweight. Many folks will disagree, citing his resume. But if you watch enough of his fights it's clear that he didn't need to go up against every light welterweight in history to prove that he could match or beat them. He was the the light welterweight division what Roberto Duran was to the lightweights.
Forget Benitez - former light welter champ Bruce Curry, before winning the title, beat Benitez twice, altho' Bruce was ripped off for the decisions. |
