I would pick Mayweather over any one 140-154 today.

I'd pick Floyd to pot shot Forrest to a UD but Forrest is a QUALITY fighter, his problems are not talent or tools, they are intangiables.

Chin? Smarts? Mental fortitude? Injuries?

His chin let him down v Mayorga and he didn't have the smarts to turn it around, he fought dumb. Same in the rematch where he had an AWFUL corner. He was scared and let a win slip away. It was a close fight but him being scared lost him it. When Mayorga took his shots, he freaked Forrest. After the fight Forrest was tied up about Mayorga being on roids for him to have taken those shots flush.

IF Forrest is smart he can go down as a great fighter. I think he needs to defend his title against Mayorga and get a W off him. Forrest is in another league from Mayorga but Mayorga has impressive intangiables, especially at that time.

Tough fight PBF is great and he is P4P #1 but Forrest is a very good fighter himself and is alot bigger than PBF who is small at 147 while Forrest looks like he could easily go up to MW. Forrest on a good night I think could win just because he is so much bigger than PBF.

The only problem Forrest has is injuries, he did fight mayo wrong the first time as he underestimated Mayo and got KTFO trying out slug him which led to him being scared in the rematch. Forrest would not underestimate PBF. The fight could go either way IMO but Forrest would whip anybody else at 147 who moves up to challenge him.

funny this poll is 50/50 but if Floyd were actaully to fight Forrest there would be outrage. Kinda like about 50% of the yahoos here picked Gatti to beat Floyd then about 60% picked Oscar. Afterwards it was a disgrace, Floyd was fighting handpicked past thier prime fighters.

True PBF gets shit from haters no matter who he fights but i think he got shit because the DLH fight was lame as for Gatti every decent fighter crushes him.

I agree forrest can win but not because of those reasons I think he can get the upset because he might be to big for PBF.

Baldo is very limited plus he couldn't crack an egg, DLH's size gave PBF alot of trouble which is why he won but didn't dominate like he usaully does. Forrest is bigger, taller, and stronger than Baldo and DLH. Don't get me wrong Forrest is a very good fighter all Im saying is size at 154 would play a huge role in the fight. let me ask you this if it was the other way around and PBF was alot bigger than Forrest would Forrest have a chance?

Forrest would beat Mayweather as long as he is healthy.

I'd give Forrest the benefit of the doubt because of the way he handled Mosley. Forrest has the style to beat shorter, slick boxers with quick hands.

The only significant concern is whether Forrest has his full confidence back.
