So really all you're saying is that Hatton is the king at 140 now.

What a profound assertion, truly ground breaking, you're a visionary in your field.

It's good to see the guy who created a post stating that Hatton is the best EVER at 140 and then changes his stance to the best in recent history is a real stickler for staying on topic.

Name a more dominant champ at 140 in Hatton's era

Sorry guys, I tried my best to carry off a thread with the unnerving moronity displayed by bigtime9 on a daily basis, but I've clean run out of options

bigtime9, I salute you - being as big a moron as you is not easy

Never faced the biggest challenge in the UK in what would have been a big fight against Junior Witter.

Beat Tsyzu, then the great Maussa and Urango. Debatable decision against Collazo.

Beat yet another lightweight (who had lost before) in his last fight, Castillo.

Old Tsyzu and Castillo then hardly huge names in the other title fights.

Do you think he would have the same reign and success against the following:

Witter, Torres, M Cotto and Paul Williams or Margaritto

NO!

That tells you all you need to know.

Three of them are welterweights for a start. But as far as Witter and Torres go, yeah I think he'd have the same success. He's a class above them.

Exactly, Hatton feasted and still feasts on former super feather and light weights.

He's not so keen to move up.

Cotto, Witter and Torres were all at 140lbs same time as Hatton.

Instead of struggling with Collazo for a strap (WBA) at 147, the real fight would have been against a more dangerous opponent at 147.

They picked an old Tsyzu and Castillo for him, then low risk belt holders and then he gives up the belts to avoid the main challengers.
