After hours of excrutiating deliberation, I painfully say Ayala is the winner by mid-rounds KO.

This is a fight Tony can't lose. Matthew 's going to be taking a lot more than he gives. He'd have an indestructable opponent in front of him, not a toothless, passive lamb like Benitez and near the end of the second round begins to lose consciousness. I see a quick, destructive finish in 3.

Ayala showed against Yori Boy that deep inside he was a quitter.
And dont tell me its age related either.

The broken hand also played a part.

I still have yet to read proof about the broken hand.
37 isnt that old.So dont use that as an excuse.
When he saw that Yori took everything he had to give , Ayala looked for a reason to quit.
How many fighters fought and won with broken hands not to mention jaws. Come on now.
Fenech fought and won with broken hands.
Abraham won last yr. with a busted jaw.
ECT.ECT.
Ayala proved to me whwen the going got tough he lost heart.
That is why he would have never beat the likes of Hagler, Duran ect.

37 is pretty old especially when you've been out for 20 years. Prime El Torito mauls and brawls his way to another early win.

What would you say is Tony's best ever win red? What sterling victory do you base your summation on?

*snicker*

What would you say Leonard's best win at 154 was to become best ever at 154 behind Hearns?
