Second, Foreman prior to beating Moorer on his comeback journey had only lost to Holyfield, the champ, and Morrison, a respected and talented contender in his prime
Both arguably got beat by fighters who aren't supposedly legendary.

Holy never pitted a comeback so didn't go through trash. When he did, and started picking his fights he has pulled off a good streak.

Holmes beat Mercer who was the WBO champ. Mercer never lost that belt in the ring.

Holmes and Foreman both looked past it but still had 'something'. If Holy has that 'something' then he deserves the W and is a real reflection of the trash that is todays division.

I thought Ibragimov won this fraction of the title from Shannon Briggs ...... so how can you say Holyfield holding it is an embarrassment to the sport ?

The way Holyfield looked against Larry Donald, Briggs looks like that in most of his fights.
Briggs was only ever slightly better than Lou Savarese, and he held this title 10 years after his prime.
If anything Holyfield would add a bit of credibility !

I like Ibragimov. Holyfield has Jesus on his side and Jesus tells him when he will KO his opponents and so forth. After the fight, Holy goes on and on about Jesus. I haven't heard Ibragimov go on and on about Mohammed, Allah, Jesus, Buhda, Mazda Ahura or Borat. I prefer fighters who keep their religion away from the sport.

Hate to say it but Ibragimov is just an overachieving bum.
Bull****. Too many people on this board toss that word out like it's nothing. Ibragimov is a skilled guy who has shown nothing but heart and determination during his pro career. To call him a bum is pathetic.
