Donīt get me wrong, Jones looked great in his fights but he wasnīt unbeatable.
Jones didnt have a problem with pressure at all. Johnson was not the 1st one ever to try and bulluy roy. Watch the bryant brannon fight. RJ vs. Bryant Brannon, he came out the gate pressuring RJ and got knocked out. I think RJ was just past his prime and he got beat period. At 168 RJ starches anyone. Hell at 160 I dont see anyone beating him as well. TOO much speed and power agility, evrything RJ had it all

Totally agree. He is going to whip some @ss, and the lucky thing for him is, probably the 'toughest' fight out there is Peter. HA HA! He will send Peter (if they fight) to Mike Tyson's "Bolivion."

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Valuev. That'd be weird.

I do think that Holyfield would have taken something special to take him out of reign at Cruiserweight..

Johnson would've gotten starched in his prime just like Tarver would've. LaMotta cannot beat him, it's a matter of styles, too slow.

Griffin 1m griffin was giving him problems at 1st, but eventually RJ found him and knocked him down. be4 he DQ'd himself. But IMO if Griffin would have gotten back up, he would have got knocked out n e way. Tarver II, it was 2 short to tell what was going to happen, But if I went off of the 1st round alone, he was keeping Tarver in the center of the ring, and he was hittin tarver with a lot of counte shots quite easily. RJ still had his confidence and he seemed to be in better shape in that fight, so i think RJ would have went the distance and eventually earned another UD. only johson i will give you, but again, if RJ in his prime, or pre knockout, he would have wooped johnson as well

By the way, Jones in his prime would've dealt with Johnson the same way he did Brannon, though not quite as bad.
I myself would favour Jones over Lamotta but i don't think he would give Lamotta the beating Robinson gave him. Simply because Jones would most likely cruise to a safe decision he wouldn't open up as much as Robison. Robinson opened up and took more chances than Roy. Jones had lots of power no doubt but he wouldn't open up plant his feet and throw shots 100% power against Lamotta. He would most likely just pot shot throw some flashy combos and win a wide UD. However Jones is not unbeatable at 168 he has to be rated in my opinion as the best 168 lb fighter ever but i don't see him being unbeatable. I can conceive fighters defeating such as McClellan, Hagler if he gained a few lbs, and James Toney at his best. Jones has to be favoured over Toney but everyone knows that Toney wasn't at his best for that fight he was severly weight drained and weakened. It is clear to any rational observer that is not the Toney that was thought of so highly. Also Jones performance is overrated he ran around and threw some pitty pat shots no doubt he won a wide ud but it was far from an ass kicking. I don't qualify running around throwing pitty pat as ass whooping. Anyhow a peak 100% Toney has a fair shot at timing and catching Jones as he jumps in and out with his unorthadox ways.
