Trinidad did KTFO the second best Middleweight at the time in Joppy. And I look at the 2 year layoff as a good thing. His gameplan is simple. Attack, attack, attack. Its not like he will lose anything for been out 2 years. He is well rested. RJ on other hand, doesnt fight for the full 3 minutes of a round. Takes rest against the ropes. And his legs arent what they used to be.

Will only watch this fight if it's on free TV. RJJ can just jab all night and win this fight. I think Tito is a HOF fighter, but with not fighting for a few years, and looking realy bad in his fight vs Winky. So much vs Tito. This will be a easy fight for RJJ. Not with my money.

Roy, even faded, should beat the much smaller and just as faded Tito.
Just how is Roy gonna make 170 without being completed drained though? |

Tito and Roy are pretty similar in size, I imagine Tito has gotten a little thicker, so he will fill out alright at 170, anybody who thinks Roy will knock Tito out is way overestimating RJJ at this point in his carrear, if he wins the fight, it will be an ugly decision like all of his recent fights, RJJ on the ropes covering up, then flurrying and throwing combos for 30s to a minute
the thing is, putting yourself on the ropes is NOT the way to beat trinidad, the way to beat trinidad is to outbox him in the middle of the ring... and I'm interested to see what approach RJJ takes, because if he doesn't take the fight to the middle of the ring, he COULD possibly get knocked out, even by a former light welterweight |

i'm not counting Tito out because if he lands on Jones with that left, it's naptime for Jones again...i favor Jones of course, but he can't afford to make any mistakes, and i see him fighting safety-first to a dec...you really have to beat Tito up badly to stop him...
