Probably when they start losing as often as they win.

Guys like Lee Swaby and Baz Carey are decent because they come to win and actually test people. Ones that don't just annoy me, because they serve no purpose in boxing.

As soon as a fighter has lost faith in himself and his trainer... and both agree to continue the partnership.

Am i right in believing that some journeymen make more in a month than as mentioned a decent contender ? Hence the reason why they are defensive first and foremost as if they get sparked well they are basically autobanned for a month aye ?
I also would like to know the average "in there pocket" coinage, for example, Lenny Daws opponent last night, what would he have taken home ?

Cheers

I think Buncey said on BBH that Buckley was always in the top 10 earners in the UK for the past few years. Take into account Hatton, Calzaghe, Haye, Woods, Froch, Harrison and Khan..... not many spaces left in a top 10 to be filled.

Imports get far less then the journeyman in the UK. I don't want to go into too much detail but your looking min 4 figures for any 4 rounder on the right side of the bill on a decent promotion.

BB dont you think the latter type journeyman would prob get booked more than the other two journeyman.

Guys who don't or can't fight get ****ed off by the board fairly quicky. If your fairly capable journeyman like Baz Carey, woh isn't particularly dangerous but will have a bit of a go and usually go the distance you'll get more work because you can take the top guys a few rounds and you not capable enough to upset talented new comers.

You don't want an Eric Crumble type fighting here, or the Thai guys that get put in with ex-world champs as cannon fodder.

I think the board are a little lenient, Billy and Ernie Smith are just milking money, as was Peter Buckley for the past couple of years.

Guys that come to win (whether or not they are good enough to do so) are fine, but the ones that don't even attempt to win half the time need to be red carded I'm afraid.
