I'd say his last big prime date was after the 1st pac fight...He was at the end of his prime in that fight! He didn't look bad against David Diaz in 2007 either though he lost hands down!

IMO erik was brilliant and didnt show much of a decline against pac 1 & took major punishment throughout the fight. em won the battle but lost the war.
it wasnt till the raheem fight till i noticed a different el terrible. |

As far as the FACTS goes, Pac never picked his opponents. And you blind haters just can't accept defeat so you call all his opponents shots afterwards. |

The 1st Pacquiao fight.
It was blatantly clear Morales took Barrera lightly in the third fight thinking MAB wouldnt be the same after getting destroyed by Pacman. It cost him big by giving up a lot of the early rounds but was able to put a decent rally to win the second half of the fight but it wasnt enough. Morales gave everything he had left against Pacquiao. You could see the determination he had in his eyes that night and the lack of in Pacman's. Pacquiao was all smiles and greeting the crowd during his first PPV ring entrance while Morales was strictly focusing on the ring and getting in there as fast as he can, very similiar to Darchinyan/Mijares. |
