Default Leapai,Haumon,Demori,Briggs or Hoppa vs Botha WBF title

botha won the WBF title, who do you think should take on Botha for the WBF World title & have it in Australia?

My choice is Leapai & 2nd Haumono,if alex trains the house down & be superfit he'll beat botha by KO & a good way to gain more confidence & experience.
we need a promoter & backings to bring it to OZ & what a way to boost the media of our heavies .

I haven't seen Botha in a while, but you would have to assume even well past it, he would just be too experienced and too skilled for someone like Lepai.

Botha would crush all of them even at his age now. He never fell easy in his prime & has way loads of experience over the lot of the Oz fighters.

Mark de Mori could give it a decent crack, depending on how much he has progressed in his past few fights. Botha is 40 keep in mind and has been very inactive over the past few years.

I'll be very surprised if any of them defeat botha, even if he is 40ish. None of them have had any career defining fight to put them in with a fighter of his experience.

Big Bob is very experienced but. There is also a big difference between surviving the full 12, and losing a massively wide decision, to actually beating a fighter of that calibre.

Pressure, which is how Lepai fights certainly wouldn't be the answer IMO. An experienced guy like Botha would just eat him up both inside and on the way in.

Someone who can make him move though, and keep a pace up that makes him uncomfortable would stand a very real chance. Botha's biggest weakness at this stage of his career would be his movement and workrate, which is what really needs to be exploited.

Mate lots of great HW fights....as the title shows....I think Sol could win if he catches Briggs early...if not Briggs could come back and outwork him over 10 or 12 rounds.

I think the battle of the NRL would be a war...for a few rounds until someone got KTFO.

I think both could do very well, as well as De Mori.

Would be a tough fight for all three though. They would need to come in great shape, and work a tight gameplan.

The reason i picked De Mori out of the bunch was because of his recent big win against a slower yet more experienced guy, and what would appear to be great conditioning in recent times. I think realistically the guys you mentioned would also have a good shot.

I don't think Briggs has THAT bad a chin to be honest. Times i've seen him KD, its been more to do with conditioning than anything else. If Briggs can come to the ring in superb shape every time, i guarantee he will be much harder to hurt. That said, we haven't really seen Sol tested either. Maybe he can lift another level??

Great matchup.
