I'm not 100% on this but I heard Yudel Jhonson's Management recently made him switch trainers. Not even sure who he's with now but whoever it is I probably wont agree with it. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I agree, he has a perfect boxer puncher style that should not be altered. I have said it a million times and I will say it again, Cuban defectors need Cuban Coaches!

Even though I agree that they need to step it up and add more KO's to their resume, ( as that what the fans like ), they should never abandon what they learned in Cuba. Seems to me that Shields is trying for Lara to become " more Americanized " in his style but that's not possible for every Cuban boxer. It has worked for Gamboa and with Rigo but Lara is different as every person is totally different.

Lara should continue " boxing and outboxing " his opponents and if the KO comes then it comes, if not then win by decision. That's the Cuban boxing mentality, this is why we are the #1 and most successful boxing Country in the amateurs.

Yes, I agree. Russia has always been very close to the Cubans. All of the Soviet Countries are very close after Cuba.

he had el tigre with him i think which every time sees a camera he jumps in front of it and starts talking shit, so annoying. noone is watching the fight to see el tigre talk ish in front of the tv , me personally i dont see yudel johnson beating a top 10 in the 154 division i still beliebe he is overweight and his real weigh is 147

lara looks extremely skinny at 154 i dont think he can make 147 but yudel has some fat without a doubt

No way Lara can be welter ,hes been stabil 69-70 kilo (152-154) for many years.
Jhonson was 153 last time maybe he can make 147.
Ugas now a Welter
Inocente Fiz 152 in his last fight.

Three good fighters, i expect all three to be in a ranking in about a year.
