Chico Corrales ending is sad cuz he died but as far as boxing related i gotta go with gerlad mclellan. I mean the guy couldn't even remember anything.

I saw that show in HBO where they showed how he was living his life now. It's pretty sad.

Gerald, to this day, aged 40, is blind in both eyes, almost completely deaf, barely capable of walking. In addition to that, Gerald’s short-term memory was very poor. Sure there are many foundations to help his cause, but it may be irreversible at this point.

roys was kind of bad....

but atleast he had those 3 fights prior to his calzaghe fight to kind of erase the memory of the 2 ko's he suffered...

roy let the sport beat him ... kind of like what floyd said @ the end of one of his fights.

hopefully his fight with omar sheika ends up well.... i never seen sheika fight

It doesn't get much sadder than what happened to Jack Johnson. Did Obama sign the posthumous pardon for him yet? I remember Bush refusing to sign it, but heard something about McCain and others kicking it around again.

it is pretty hard to beat what happened to Joe Louis. What a sad story. The US Government should be ashamed at how they treated Joe Louis.

I'd like to add Ali to the discussion..
Granted his image has not fallen, but his physical has taken a beating due to his PD.
(It hurt's to watch this great man, As he is today)

I could only imagine what public word's Ali has had to say? (Or could have said)
(That we have missed out on over the last 20 years or so)
