Any way my betting slip was judged to be a loser in the shop today......they couldn't tell me which fight was a loser.
I am presuming the Kid Galahad fight which the ring docter stopped for cuts was the loser.......but then surely a technical decision would be given making my bet a winner??
Excuse my ignorance but what exectly is a decision and what is a technical decision!?
cuts are usually ruled as tko's so just what exactly is the technical decision???
your thoughts are greatly appreciated
thanks
Damn that's a nice bet but you're unlucky.

A technical decision is when the fight is stopped by something not in the rules and they go to the scorecards. For example a cut caused by an accidental headbutt.

If the cuts are caused by legal punches then the boxer who inflicted them wins via a technical knockout. Like Lewis vs Vitali.

That's actually horrific. Won £60 last night myself. Had the over (8.5) in the Galahad fight in my bet as I was too scared to go Galahad decision.

I know that does the opposite of help but just thought I'd say.

Had a bet on the game myself. Silly maybe, sense of inevitability when you've been betting on sport this long...certainly.

nice, I'm a big fan of inplay betting.

I always look on Bet365 where they have all the stats up. If you can see one team is all over the other one and they're still drawing with 25 minutes or something left you can get some pretty juicy odds.

Been sucked in by in play recently but got sucked out on two games which were dead certs. Would have lumped on City to win at 80th minute if i was near a laptop.

I don't really recommend inplay in football, unless its at times like that where its just inevitable. You know its going to happen. Small teams against big teams under the cosh and it means something, it doesn't matter if theres 20 mins to go or 1 min, you've always got a good bet if the odds are there. But then again, I'm biased against football in general and don't like betting on it, so that might just be me.

Yeah, even at 2-1 down with 90 mins gone on the clock I still knew that my bet wasnt safe.

Got a longshot each way double for today.. Mohedian Lady 16/1 14:00 York and Priceless Art 12/1 16:45 York. Patent it up with Unidexter at 33/1 16:10 York if you want. I hear good things about the e/w double though.

Got the worse Lucky 15 tip yesterday which has completely put me off tips for a while. Was actually thinking when I was picking my own horses for around 3-4 months straight I did much better, the more I got into the more I thought tipsters - like websites who are dedicated to tips, not those from people in general, were the way to go. Not the case at all!
