I think Adamek would beat Chambers.

He's just a better operator, there's little natural size difference between them. Chambers is a bit quicker but he's lazy, Adamek has the knack of being able to win rounds....

I'd favour Tomasz strongly by decision.

Can't bring myself to watch Adamek these days. Incredibly boring.

Yeah, he's never been compulsive viewing but at HW he's not particularly easy on the eye.

I suppose he's aware of his limitations and relies on not being a fat, unfit cunt to give himself an edge in fights.

To be honest it's particularly damning that a good LHW/CW (he's nothing more) can hold down a spot in the top 5 at heavyweight..... it's not like he possesses a particularly special attribute.

He's not a puncher, he's not fast, he's not hard to hit, he's not undentable.... just ticks most boxes fairly well.

Completely agree. Would be completely dominated in most eras.

Aye. He'd have most likely have stayed at the lower weight in any other era.

In the 90's he'd be a decent European contender that would lose as many as he won against decent fighters.

It says it all that we've got rugby players boxing part time to earn a few quid smacking around which ever fat knacker will get in there for the least money.

Absolutely no idea tbh mate. He's the home fighter though and Vic has looked on the slide a bit lately imo. Southpaw, decent record on paper it seems with stoppage wins over Christian Esquivel and Ryosuke Iwasa who was seemingly a decent prospect. I get the sense he has everything in his favour & is "supposed" to win so somewhat surprised to see him nearly a 2/1 underdog

Paul McCloskey vs Julio Diaz

Diaz is @ $5.15
Im on him, he can still box and paul's style is not a banger

I've looked at him and I would stay clear of this IMO, risky fight. VIc tends to throw up these results you don't expect, i.e. when he completely dominated Perez in the first 5 rounds when everyone was expecting a 50/50, and ofc the Mijares fight. Vic's the favourite in this but the odds have obiously narrowed due to the Jap having home advantage and Vic getting schooled by Moreno but the simple fact of the matter is the Jap still needs to be very good or Vic pretty far past it for him to win, not sure if either of those is the case.

Me neither, can't think what the odds will be?? Will they read a lot into Green performance where he was underdog and overcompensate this time?

Or unbeaten record?

I really dunno, tough to call. Close odds I guess.
