Done a Djoko and Roddick double at 2.43

Gone for the two composed guys with big bollocks against the brainless ball bashers.

I love Tsonga but cant see him winning over 5. Djokovic isnt really susceptible to being blasted off the court like say Nadal is as he doesnt give the opponent many short balls. Tsonga will have a lull at some point in the match and it'll cost him.

Same with Cilic who I cant stand watching. At some point will give away his serve with a load of errors so hopefully its enough for the solid Roddick to see out a few sets + he is a tie break king if it comes to it. My only worry is Roddick seemed to have a little knock against Gonzo but that was in set 3 and he come through ok.

Im on Murray outright so avoiding that match. And dont fancy betting on the other match, the price on Federer could quickly be made to look shite by Davydenko but on the flip side the error prone choking Davydenko could turn up against a Federer hitting 68% + of first serves and it be over in 2 hours.

A lot of those wins were indoors though, infact all of them might have been. Djokovic's 2 wins have been outdoors.

Roddick + Fed would be my "safe" double personally.

I know Davydenko is on a great run (12 straight wins I think...) and beat Nadal and Federer recently but he just didn't look too good against Verdasco in sets 3 and 4. And this was against an opponent with almost twice as many unforced errors as winners and about 20 double faults and he only JUST got over the line. Federer isn't going to give him so many gifts. I can't see him having it in him to beat Fed. Plus another factor is the 5 sets he played.

Nadal/Murray is one to play as a single, I agree.

I suppose there is a danger Djokovic isnt proper sharp yet either, he's had quite possibly the easiest run to a GS quarter final I have ever seen, it's laughably bad. Guess we'll see whether thats a good or bad thing after the match.

Could say the same for Murray really. His route has been laughably easy. That South African dude in round 1 that could barely hold a serve, Serra, Isner who has no return game. Nadal's has been kinda similar with Karlovic in place of Isner, similar type players.

I don't think Tsonga is a brainless ball basher. He is kinda brainless as far as realising match situations and playing the right balls but his game is quite well rounded, he's powerful from the back of the court but he really shines when he gets into the net. That's what he has to do against Djokovic to disturb him, he can't expect to win a battle of consistency from the baseline. I really like Tsonga when he's volleying, doesn't do it enough for me.

Damn...I was lucky...I wasn't around to put the bet on before the match started. And I probably wouldn't have been able to resist. Seems the shoulder injury cost him.

Still fancying Fed...will have to find something else to pair him with

I quite fancy Fed as well.

Great match going on between Murray and Nadal.

Murray Nadal match. You can currently get 6/4 for the non serving player to win the next point in each game. The last 3 games have all gone to deuce. Keep an eye on that one.

Venus Williams usually goes tumbling out of non-Wimbledon grand slams at this point.

Na Li is inconsistant but wouldn't be surprised if she beat her.

They're on fire at the minute. Great home record but despite QPR's pretty average form they have picked up 3 decent draws in their last 4 away games.

I think Forest are a good shout but I'd keep in mind QPR's draws away to Blackpool, Sheff Utd and WBA recently when deciding on a stake.

. . .I think I might have them in a small double with Newcastle tomorrow night. Pretty useful odds at 1.7/1

Leave Swindon vs Leeds alone.

Betfair pays 1.87 on Norwich to win at Walsall..... that seems like a good bet to me, they are on fire right now.

That does seem a good price. They're without their captain for the match. He's scored 23 goals this season. Any news on how they've done without him in the side this year?

What do you think of Bolton at home to Burnley. Looks good value to me at 5/6
