Bet of the weekend was for me Real Madrid to score 4 plus against Deportivo at 6/1 with Coral!!!
Skybet had this at 5/2. I only noticed these odds at the last minute and couldn't get it on-spent the whole match urging them not to score. Final score was 3-2 but there was a lot of chances. Well worth watching to see what the odds are for the next home game they play because this Madrid team, when it clicks, will absolutely murder teams and if Coral offer that sort of price again it should be bet on heavily. |

England to beat Australia in the T20 today 7/5.
The Aussies are shit at T20 cricket and don't care about it either, if truth be told. |

Turkey over Estonia, Poland over Northern Ireland, Spain over Belgium, Austria over Faroe Islands.
Poland vs. N. Ireland: Poland is a must. We are good home team, and with the likes of Kuba, Obraniak, Brozek is on fire now, also M. Lewandowski is in good shape... we will fuck Ireland up no doubt imo. 3-0 Poland. Turkey over Estonia I think this is my biggest risk. Turkey are solid but they looked kinda fatigued vs Bosnia and Spain. This is a good analysis: These 2 have met on a couple of occasions before, but in friendlies, both matches finishing as draws. Estonia haven't scored in their last 2 WC qualifiers, but have conceded 10 goals (7-0 at Bosnia, and 0-3 against Spain). They also lost their opener at Belgium, but they did manage to score a couple (3-2). Prior to that there were 2 friendlies which they won 2-1 against Malta and 4-3 against the Faroe Islands - not really too much to shout about. the last time they won in competitive matches was in the Euro Qualifiers last year against Andorra 0-2. they drew against Macedonia and beat Andorra at home 2-1. Other than that, they lost all there other games - in most of them they didn't even bother to score! Turkey as a team are in great form recently, having been knocked out in the semi finals of Euro 2008 this year against the runners up Germany. They beat Bosnia 2-1 and Armenia 0-2 but had a bit of a slip up against Belgium - only managing a home draw 1-1. The only way Turkey won't win this match by several goals is if they under estimate Estonia, but I think they will have learnt their lesson from the Belgium match. 2-0 Turkey Spain over Belgium Spain is the best team in the world, and Belgium have struggled vs. a poor Estonian team. Spain will shit on them, especially at home. Belgium don't have the quality and teamwork like Spain does. 3-0 Spain Austria over Faeroe Islands. Austria is a pretty solid small team. Solid enough to beat the Islands. Austria are like a Mini Germany. 3-0 Austria. Risk: $150.00 Winnings: $237.08 |

Belgium actually have some very talented players, but not much in the way of teamwork and I give them minimal chance away from home against Spain. Faroes have no chance against anybody away from home, they need home turf to level up the odds. Gotta fancy Poland at home to Northern Ireland and Turkey against Estonia. Pawel Brozek? I have him in my Wisla team on Football Manager right now. He is supposed to be my best player but is outshined by Beto right now. |

He only scored 2 in 5 games but he seems to only score in vital games....While the likes of Golanski or Marcelo tend to score vs the lower teir teams. Today we played a undefeated team in Jagielona(pretty good team) and Pawel scored the 2-1 winner. Hes going to be vital vs. Ireland cause Ireneusz Jelen(my fav player Right now Wisla are on fire in the leauge, undefeated so far in 5 games. Smolarek is clubless. Get that, we got a player on Poland who doesn't have a club. But he has been very solid in our 2-0 freindly win vs. Greece(2 weeks ago) and 10-0 destruction of San Marino. Bolton dont want him and Racing Santander dont want him either. He might be going to Holland... But Smolarek is always commited and he always gives it his all. Good mental player, bad manager. In other words, N. Ireland are pretty much fucked imo... Better feild, home court, revenge mentality, our players are in decent form. I think we got this.

The odds on Poland winning are 1,60
-160 Thats a good odd imo..Poland aren't really horrible, we got a solid squad with great mid fielders like Roger, Obraniak, M. Lewandowski from Shaktar, and we cant forget Kuba, a good keeper, right now our main strikers are injured but Brozek is a good backup for Ireneusz Jelen. Hard working player both of them. Our defense isn't that great, especially we now got to rely on a rookie in Golanski to fill in Wasilewski's place(check my thread in the lounge, career defying injury. Worse than what happened to Eduardo.)... but Boruc imo is in good form and he counts as a defender N.Ireland don't know how to play with the ball, so a poor ground benefits them and brings any half decent team down to their level. Then they can just play physical football and hope to get lucky in front of goal once or twice. Many poor teams play like that. Now we are playing Home, Ireland are in for a 2-0 whoopin at least. A 3-0 or 2-0 victory is in place imo.. Northern Ireland are a sloppy team... |
