Not really, I just worked on a thousand because it's easier to work out with a hangover

It'll work with whatever you put on, I suppose it's a way to make a decent amount with lower risk.

I always lay off at some point, had a decent win on a rugby game and put it all on Arsenal to beat Newcastle, was probably a couple of hundred quid. Laid off at 3-0, only cost me £3 to guarantee the profit (nearly £200)..... if I'd been smarter or had a crystal ball I'd have laid even more, would have only cost an extra tenner to have £1000 profit on Newcastle or the draw.

I guess this method can be good in boxing too, due to the amount of draws

Definitely mate.

It's always a dodgy carry on with British judges lately, if you bet someone at evens and at the bell they're 1/5, get it laid off.

A few people on here said they got Groves at 4's and 5's during the last round.

One thing I may start doing is using Skybet's method of victory..... the markets for split and majority decisions are very generous (often between 12-16/1), if a fight seems pretty evenly matched like Smith vs Simpson you could shove a tenner on each and you'll still have between 6 and 8/1.

How do you think England will play this tomorrow? I imagine they'll declare when they're way out of sight/when there's hardly any overs left in the day. Strauss is too negative. I got 100/1 on Bell to be England's top scorer. It's a long shot but knowing Strauss he'll bat on long enough.
